Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 22, 2026 · Version 2026-09-27

This Privacy Policy explains how Harry Singh ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you use the Digital Closet mobile application and its related services (the "App"). It is written to meet Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws, and it also describes rights you may have under other laws such as the EU/UK GDPR and U.S. state privacy laws.

By creating an account or using the App you acknowledge that you have read this policy. Please also read our Terms of Service.

Important: Outfit, weather, packing, care and donation suggestions in the App are generated automatically (including by artificial intelligence) and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are general information only. Use your own judgment and check other sources (for example the official weather forecast, garment care labels and the charity itself) before relying on them.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

We do not use advertising identifiers, third-party advertising, or third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

2. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, do not "share" it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and do not use it to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

We rely on your consent, which you give when you create an account and accept this policy, and which you give separately for device permissions such as location, camera and photos. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions; withdrawing may mean some features no longer work. Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are performance of our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention and improving the App), and compliance with legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We share personal information only with service providers that process it on our behalf to run the App, generally under contractual confidentiality and security obligations, and only as needed for the purposes below:

5. Where your information is stored

Our service providers may store or process information in Canada, the United States or other countries, so your information may be stored or processed outside your province or country. Information processed outside Canada is subject to the laws of those countries and may be accessible to their courts, law enforcement and national security authorities. Where required, we use reasonable contractual protections for these transfers.

6. How long we keep it

We may keep information longer where required by law or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, private photo storage with expiring access links and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach of security safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by law.

8. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may:

To make a request, email us at the address below. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the period the law requires. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario where it has jurisdiction, or your local data protection authority.

9. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Users under the age of majority in their province or country need the permission of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date and, if the changes are significant, notify you in the App or ask for your consent again before they apply to you.
